How to clean hats of different materials?

• Leather Hat: the leather hat can be sliced with scallions and wiped clean. The fur cap can be wiped with cloth dipped in gasoline to achieve the washing effect.

• Felt hat: the stains on the fine felt hat can be scrubbed with a mixture of equal amount of ammonia and alcohol. First dip a piece of silk cloth into the mixture, and then wipe the hat. Be careful not to make the hat too wet, otherwise it will be easy to lose shape. Finally, wipe with a dry towel. Where the hat is polished or worn, you can wipe it with fine sandpaper, or sprinkle some salt, and then brush it with a hard brush or wipe it with sugar. The cleaned hat looks like a new one.

• Deerskin hat: if the deerskin hat is not too dirty, scrub it with fine salt, but not too often, otherwise the deerskin is easy to polish.

• Knitted hat: after washing, it is best to fill the hat with crumpled paper or cloth, and then dry it. In order to restore the hat to its original state, make it drum up. After drying, it's best to take it to hot water for steam bath.

• Straw hat: before washing the straw hat, remove the lining and all other accessories, and then soak it in cold water for several hours (the straw hat will not deform). After soaking, wash with a brush dipped in soap or detergent solution. After decontamination, the white straw hat can be bleached with hydrogen peroxide solution. Put the straw hat in the solution with the same temperature as room temperature, heat it to 50-60 ℃, take it out after half an hour, brush it with clean water, and then dry it in the sun.

Slight stain

If it is only a slight stain, such as a slight stain accidentally dropped on the ground when playing on the road, just wipe it off with a wet towel.

Deep stain

If it is a large area and has penetrated into the cloth, the method of water washing shall be adopted.

2️⃣Put a little washing powder on the stained area.

3️⃣Brush with a toothbrush and remember not to be too violent.

4️⃣The sweat belt must be cleaned, because the sweat belt is the place that directly contacts the skin and hair. When wearing it, a sweat will be absorbed into the sweat belt, and it will stink over time.

5️⃣After brushing, wash off the stains with clean water (do not aim the hat at the faucet for strong flushing, because it may cause deformation due to the impact of the hat shape in this step).

Blow dry or air dry

If you are in a hurry, you can dry it with a hair dryer. If you are not in a hurry, you can dry it. If the hair dryer is used, it should be noted that the hair dryer should be adjusted to the heat mode, and the air volume should be adjusted to the minimum or middle value, and then let the wind direction of the hair dryer blow inside the hat body, because the wind direction will support the hat body outward, and use the heat of the hair dryer with the water permeated in the hat cloth, which is equivalent to ironing the hat shape again.

Push out the hat type
